Developing the "While You Are Going... Make Deciples" curriculum materials has been a labor of love for all of us who have helped produce them. This has been our response to God's great love for us. We pray that these materials will help your students also respond to God's love.

The curriculum includes four teacher's guides. Each teacher's guide contains Biblical background and daily objectives, suggestions for presenting the materials, country information, and additional activities and black line masters to enable students to apply the lessons in their daily lives. |

Student Pages - Level 1 & 2 |
The student pages for levels 1 and 2 are four page folders. They include an introduction to the lesson's theme, Bible story with illustrations, student activities for review and application of the lesson, and there is also a story about each country and a message to the parents. |

The student pages for levels 3 and 4 are different from those that are used for levels 1 and 2. Each lesson is presented in a volume of a newspaper called the Global Times. Each volume includes the Bible story, Global Gloria's travel tips which help to apply the lesson theme, a travel fun activity which uses codes to review the memory verse, a story about the country of that day, and an article about the animal for each lesson. |

Resource Guide
The resource guide includes ideas for decorating a classroom or area for each country. It also includes songs, crafts, snack recipes, games, skits, and has daily worship suggestions. If you are a classroom teacher using these materials, you would probably want your own copy of the resource guide, as it does include some resources that are not in the grade level teacher's guides.

Travel Journal
The travel journal is intended to help students on their journey. Each section includes information about the country and space for them to draw or write about what they have learned from the video or from their teacher. It also includes more information about the animal for that country.

Audio Cassette or CD
An audio cassette or CD is included to help you sing the songs. Many of the songs are in a different language. Pronunciations and the meaning of the words are included with the song sheet, but the audio tracks will help you with pronunciations and singing of the songs.
Video Segments
The video segments help to put a face on missions. They enable children to see diciple making in action. Each of the country video segments is between 8 and 10 minutes long. The goal of each video segment is to give a brief picture of the country and to show some of what missionaries are doing in that country. These videos are fun because we get to see people working and playing, and we occasionally get a glimpse of the unusual. But their main purpose is to reflect the life changing power of God's Word.
