Mission Projects

Liberia

Liberia is located on the Atlantic coast of West Africa and is bordered by Sierra Leone, Guinea, and C“te d'Ivoire. English and 33 other languages are spoken in Liberia. Even though civil conflict has forced LBT to evacuate its missionaries from Liberia three times since 1989, God has enabled the work to continue. LBT missionaries assigned to Liberia are based outside the country. During regular visits, they consult with their indigenous co-workers and church leaders and provide literacy and computer training and program guidance.
