LBT Adds 2 New Missionary Teams

Two Lutheran Bible Translators missionary teams are finalizing arrangements in expectation of moving to their overseas mission assignments this year.

If all goes well, the two families will be in place by this Fall.

Kory and Cara Fay, along with their son Samuel, and new born daughter (March 31) Lucy Jo, are hoping to begin their first overaseas step towards long term missionary service in Cameroon, West Africa. The Valparaiso graduates will do this by immersing themselves in an intensive study of the French language. French is the official language of Cameroon.

"We both felt the call to overseas missions," they said. "Given our backgrounds and interests, Bible translation in Africa is a natural fit."

Rev. Richard and Maya Rudowske with their five children, are finalizing plans that will soon take them to Botswana, South Africa where they will serve as Bible translators and consultants with one of the local churches.

Rich, a pastor, depends on Maya to organize and manage their thriving family. "We're on an adventure together as we share the love of Jesus," Rich said.
