LBT's Exciting, Engaging Mission Exhibit To Be Featured at LWML National Convention
Lutheran Bible Translators staff and missionaries will be carrying the LBT story to more than two dozen conventions and exhibitions in 2009.
The biggest event at which LBT will be telling its story is the 2009 LWML National Convention "Look to the Hills", set for June 25-28 in Portland, Oregon. Convention attendees will be able to select a people who do not yet have the Bible translated into their heart language, locate them physically, and commit to pray for them.
There are more than 6900 languages in the world. Of that number, over 4,000 do not have a single work of Scripture available to them in the language that speaks to their hearts.
