Chris and Janine Pluger, and their son Sean, are members of Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELS) in Centerville Ohio. They are both former teachers and have received extensive training in theology and linguistics.
The Plugers are preparing to move to Zambia, where they will work with mother-tongue speakers of the Nsenga language to produce a Bible that is faithful to the original languages of Scripture, and is clear and beautiful in Nsenga.
Chris and Janine are currently in the U.S. and are available to speak about the work of LBT at Bible classes, mission festivals, and other church events. They would also like to share their mission with individuals personally, to invite them one-on-one to be prayer and financial partners with them in their work.
The Plugers are seeking to build lasting partnerships that will allow them to carry out their long-term work among the Nsenga. While sustaining sufficient monthly support is critical, there is also a one time start up project for household setup in Zambia.
